Few things feel as timeless as a sunset on the water—and Justin & Crystal’s Manhattan proposal at Pier 45 at Hudson River Park brought all the golden-hour magic. After ten years together, these high school sweethearts made their next chapter official with a breathtaking waterfront moment that perfectly captured their journey.


A Love That Spanned a Decade

Justin and Crystal’s story started way back in high school. Over the past ten years, they’ve grown up together, moved across the country, and built a life filled with shared dreams. Now settled in New York City—Crystal’s hometown—they were ready to take the next step in the place that means so much to them.


The Perfect Surprise at Pier 45 at Hudson River Park

Though Crystal had a feeling a proposal was coming soon, she didn’t know it would happen that day. Justin timed it perfectly, waiting for golden hour to drop to one knee on Pier 45—a peaceful, romantic spot on the Hudson River waterfront. Crystal looked radiant, her nails were done (a proposal-ready win!), and her reaction said it all.


NYC Engagement Photos at Sunset

After the big moment, we spent some time capturing sunset engagement photos along the pier. The sky lit up in soft pastels, casting a dreamy glow over every frame. Between the laughter, the kisses, and the light dancing on the water, it was a session full of love and emotion.


A Celebration Fit for the Moment

To cap off the night, Justin and Crystal headed to a fancy dinner together—just the two of them—soaking in the start of this new season. After ten years of growing together, this was the beginning of something even more beautiful.
