Kara & Mimi's In-Home Family Session on the Upper West Side | NYC Family Photographer
- Family Sessions
There’s something so special about seeing families year after year — watching little ones grow and new chapters begin. I first photographed Raphaella, Marc, and their son Max last fall, and it was such a joy to catch up with them again this year for another Central Park family session!
We met near Sheep Meadow, one of my favorite spots in the park for fall photos. The leaves were just beginning to turn, the light was soft and golden, and Max was full of energy — running around, laughing, and keeping his parents on their toes in the best way. It’s always amazing to see how much personality kids show in just a year!
This session was extra special because Raphaella is just weeks away from welcoming baby number two. I loved capturing this beautiful in-between moment for their family — the excitement, the tenderness, and all the anticipation of what’s to come. You can really feel the love between the three of them in every photo.
For families thinking about doing a Central Park photo session, fall is truly one of the best times of year. The colors, the crisp air, and the open spaces make it perfect for relaxed, natural family photos — especially with little ones. And if you’re a Westchester or Pleasantville family, Central Park is such an easy and timeless location for your next session. (I also photograph families throughout Westchester, so whether we’re in the city or closer to home, I love creating images that feel genuine and full of connection.)
I’m so excited for this sweet family as they step into their next chapter — and I can’t wait to meet their newest little one soon!
Whether you’re in Central Park, Westchester, or right in Pleasantville, I’d love to help capture your family’s story. My sessions are relaxed, playful, and focused on creating images that truly feel like you. Contact me to start planning your session!
